Well, right now starts my (again) diet of not eating any fried foods, fast foods, and foods that contain more than 400-500mg of sodium per serving. The only fast foods Iapos;m allowed to eat are: grilled (non-fried/breaded) chicken sandwhiches and Wendyapos;s baked potatoes.

So...Iapos;m gonna starve. =/

Iapos;ve been busy over the weekend. Among other things, Iapos;ve been shopping for a new camera - need more megapixels My little Samsung peaks out at a 3.87 MP image, which means that when I do capture a good image, itapos;s generally too small to sell as stock. Iapos;ll probably buy one today. This evening Iapos;ll sit down and read through all the friends postings Iapos;ve missed.

In the meantime, I give you a Japanese cat who seems to be getting a catnip-like high on a plant called matatabi, or silver vine. We must bring this plant to the US

My roommate and her boyfriend are so cute. I cant decide if it actually makes my heart melt.. Or vomit a little bit in the back of my mouth. She comes home late on Mondays, and every Monday he has dinner waiting when she comes home. Maybe this seems creepy to some, but he honestly is doing it because he is crazy about her. Makes me a little jealous... Well, a lot jealous.

Iapos;ve added a couple friends on here... I love all my peeps but my friends page has gotten a little bland.

Ethan is coming home tonight.. Iapos;m really excited for him to be back but I know Iapos;m going to be asleep by the time heapos;s home. So I guess Iapos;ll see him tomorrow night. Le sigh. I guess I can deal, I havenapos;t seen him since Thursday morning, whatapos;s another 24 hours? It will suck when he has to go to Taiwan for 2 weeks for work, oh which is like next weekend. So heapos;ll be home for a couple days and then leave again. Crapity crap. But Iapos;m happy for him since I love to travel and a part of me wishes I had a job where I could travel too.

Tonight... Animated Robin Hood and Madagascar Woot

So thereapos;s this process that children go through during cognitive development called magical thought. This is generally between the ages of two and seven and is marked by difficulty separating fact from fiction and thinking that things like dreams, shadows, and cartoons are all real events. This is often followed by animism, wherein children believe that all objects think, feel, and react the same way they do. So for example if a child had a stuffed animal with a hole in it the child might ask for a band-aid for the toy. During this time children often construct imaginary or pretend friends to interact with.

I must have been a weird kid, cause I skipped the whole imaginary friend thing. I did have a hard time with the whole fantasy/reality thing, but my mom was really good at fixing that. I used to watch Sleeping Beauty a lot but Iapos;d always run out of the room whenever Maleficent, especially in dragon form, came on the screen. One day Mom saw me watching this scene from behind the door and asked me what I was doing. When I told her I was hiding from Maleficent she took my hand, led me over to the TV and tapped on the screen. "See?" she told me, "Itapos;s ok. They canapos;t get out."

From that point on I was absolutely fine. Until the next time they took me to Disneyland. At which point I discovered that my mother had liiiiiiiiiiied1

Well, not really. But I do think itapos;s cool that I had two parents with backgrounds in psychology who understood how to explain things to me in a way I would understand them. My mother knew that it would be easier at that age to explain that what was in the TV couldnapos;t get out than trying to explain that what was in the TV wasnapos;t real.

I thought Santa was real until I was seven, but I never did the imaginary friend thing. I remember getting very frustrated with my parents when my dad told me I had a guardian angel because I couldnapos;t see her. Did anyone hear have an imaginary friend or other pretend playmate? Because Iapos;ve never actually met anyone who has. Discuss.

I know Iapos;m young, and Iapos;d love to say that you donapos;t have to remind me but you probably will anyway. I know that Iapos;ve got my whole life in front of me, and Iknow that most people are annoyed by my words and just say, "Sheapos;s too young to know what love really is." I figure all of that is bullshit. I always hated when people wrote about corny, cheesy love moments. I think I understand, though. Because sometimes, when you love someone, itapos;s hard to just discard them or not think about them every waking moment. Heapos;s so wrong though. My life is TV series. We fell in "love", he fell out first, and Iapos;m heartbroken. Itapos;s his smile. Itapos;s his voice. Itapos;s his touch. Am Ibeing haunted or is someone trying to send me a message? I donapos;t get it. I honestly want to tell you Idonapos;t like him, because at some momentshe disgusts me and Iwant nothing to do with him. Then there are other moments when my hearts just melts over the single thought of him. But there are other boys, much sweeter boys. They would do anything for me, they would go to no end to see me happy. I guess thatapos;s repulsive to me. Because, regaurdless of how great they treat me, or how much more they diserve me, I still would rather be with him and see him and just call him mine. Actually, I think the only reason I wanthim is because Icanapos;t havehim. Or because he is the biggest challenged I have ever faced. The one I canapos;t actually defeat. That bugs me to hell, because I always win. Noone beats me.Except for you. Always.
